My 4th In Camp Training (6th April - 8th April)

Finally went through. For the past 3 days (6/04/09 - 08/04/09) I was in reservist. Really sian lor, we spent a lot of time waiting, because of lots of coordinating to be done from the top, then to the commanders, then to us (the men). The process can take at least 30 mins to 2 hours. Then after the command is given to us. Normally give us 15mins allowance to prepare before fall in. And it takes another 15 - 30 mins for the UNCLES(us) to "deli-thereli". Therefore, I think a lot of time can be save doing other things.

Look how is it done ==> 1 hour (avg time for top to decide on message) + 20 mins (for men to get ready) + 20 mins (for us to fall in) == Total time wasted about 1hour 40 mins.

And that is only 1 activity, and for the time we did nothing but sleep. LOL, imaging I can sleep until headach and fell sick eventually. Seriously wasting our time and tax payer money....

Only the third day, which was yesterday, we had IPPT (Indivual Physical Profeciency Test) this was the most feared test among the "uncles". hee hee but this is the test I earn money. hee I every year get a sliver for the test. which army pays me $200 as a reward. $400 for Gold. (but of cos I not that fit) Hee hee.

I took the station like hell. 4 static station(sit-up, pull-up, Shuttle-run, Standing board jump) and 2,4km run. Now aching everywhere. haha... my timings....

Sit-up - 39 times (1min) - 5pts
Pull-up - 11 times - 5pts
Shuttle-Run - 8.7 secs - 5pts(haha I think company fastest)
Standing Board Jump - 243 mm - 5 pys
2,4km Run - 11 min 26 sec - 3pts (required below 10sec to get gold)

Haiz only the run kills me.... If I can only run 1min and 26secs faster. I can earn $200 extra... haha. anyone would like to earn $200 in 1 min 26 secs ???? Haha train my running..... LOL

Malaysia Trip

The trip to KL(friendly match) last weekend was a short but enjoyable one. I made new friends and also made old friends. Hee Y? I know my friends within poomse club better liao.

We were very excited during the first day of the trip, 14th March, we thought that we're going to fight our way to KL. Hee everyone was excited. But then, delay here and there, and the bus trip was killing us. about 4hours. To KL all low moral to fight liao. haha... and in fact the actual training was on Sunday (15th March).

At the school, I was so scared by the view I see. All of them wearing black belt even a little gal and boy around 5 or 6 years old. Waa "Strong Opponent" was running thought my mind.

But then, I got more relax, when I join in their training. Looking at how they kick, and how they endure every exercise. My confidence level went up =).

We had a row sparring(slight contact), we were asked not to fight at our best to "hide" our strengths. Haha. We ended with a individual contact sparring. Each group was asked to choose their best 5. (poomse club / Malaysian). In the end more than 5 were choosen, from our side - Jia Hao, Sherman, Me, Vikki, Mike Quek, Daniel(Jr), Hidayah, Hidayat and Eugune. We had a good fight.

Vikki knock out one of the malaysian. I got kick in the neck. Hee but I got the malaysian head twice. Anyway, they say I fought well but I think it's a bit like not enough. lol (to view my video, go to my facebook.)

Setbacks of Taekwondo

Haiz.... Nowadays being instructor is so hard. Cannot punish students and a lot of stuff. Recently I kanna a few setbacks from taekwondo being an instructor

Setback 1 - Because of my good teaching, I was praised by a student. But her feedback on other instructors made my chief unhappy. On her side she just wanted my senior to improve their teaching. End up I kanna scolded because of her kind comments. I was now forbidden to teach unarmed combat in my class and somehow cannot make my class so "interesting" =.="

Setback 2 - Chief wanted me to teach my combat skills to people who wants to learn. and is charged at $50 for 4 lessons. I do up all the lesson plan. And in the beginning I was happy that Linus volunteered himself to help me in the course. But as I know his character. He may not be able to handle Bisi. And furthermore if there will be any injury or if he scold the class. The situation would be bad. (cos with top ppl like Mike Quek and Vikki and Jia Hao) The class has to be conducted in a professional way. (it's expensive, I really want ppl who came to learn from me.)

So I rejected him in the end. Which hurt his feelings and he like very sad and angry. (maybe also my sms created a misunderstanding)

Setback 3 - Taekwondo Poomse Committee, mmmm I dun not know why, but I have a strong feeling that it's breaking apart. Just a feeling.... And T-shirt, Jo-an did a great job. I hope her effort doesn't goes to drain. She emailed to a Alan but no reply. She did so much, but who will want to come out with 1.5k (300pcs) for the T-shirt. We do not have sponsors. Hiaz... can the T-shirt be done? I suggested just do 20pcs for the committee members. we pay and we wear. If looking at 300pcs. Do you know how long will be the turn over. omg....

Today was rather an emo day for me. Y? Although I had recovered from my wisdom tooth operation le, but it left with me a throat infection. I got 1 oucer on my tongue, 1 on my gums and worst 1 on my throat(which kills me most). Doctor told me that is most properly is due to the wisdom tooth operation. (because I remove so many tooth one shot). AND TODAY. The one at my throat grows bigger =.=" (about a half a size of a ten cent coin). and it's located at my throat. Which means I cannot talk properly, I cannot even eat or drink properly. Guess wat I cannot even swallow my own saliva properly.

SOOooo today I was in a rather bad mood. I almost shouted at my colleague who kept on making me to speak to him =.=". But when I thought of I cannot scream or shout at him. I calm myself down. (I think it has been years since I last lost my temper. so just keep it that way ba).

Imagine you cannot shout like before, talk like before, eat or drink like before. Haiz... Just think of yourself in my shoes. (You're so hungry.... But the moment you think of that eating or drinking which will make your throat hurts.... you dun feel like eating yet so hungry. Every bite, every swallow of food cause pain....) lol.... seriously not so nice right?

And then today at zone 12. I cannot teach like before. Today's class sir Mike is so busy collecting money and no belt black can conduct the warm up. The class was like delayed for 10mins. Then my chief Instructor - Bruce Lee volunteered himself to teach the class. really respect him lor. I thought he just conduct the warm up. but in the end he end up conducting the whole lesson.... RESPECT RESPECT RESPECT.....

End of the class I buy both of them a drink.... I felt so bad..... and sad.... and pain.... T.T

A Chance Slipped by

Today I'm still on MC but then went back to work... Haiz... Nothing to do also. Did really do much at work. Just do a few printings and check email. Cos boss not around also.

After work really thinking of a lot of places to go, temple at Paya Lebar, Liang Seng at City Hall and thought of watch movie at Tampines. But when travelling along PIE. whenever I see the exit. I felt lazy, in the end I drove all the way home. Hee Hee.... Play game at home lor wat to do. LOL

And today surprisingly Jervel chat with me in Facebook. Hee after so long. She have been skipping training for weeks liao. So I thought of returning back her tkd shoes which was left in my lorry collecting dust. (today do lorry cleaning then saw her shoes). Mmm she asked me if I'm free tml, she wanted me to bring her dog "Gal Gal" to vaccine. Mmmm I did not really reject her, but in the end she still insist on walking her dog to the vet (From punggol Ave 10 to Serangoon North ave 4, quite far lor). Haiz... think she will feel odd with me around ba. Hee I'll also dunno what to talk to her(I'm a boring guy). Hope she is still doing fine ba. =) (Y I did not ask her more lol.... I guess I was too afraid ba)

Suddenly these few days I've been thinking, and also with Valentines' Day nearby, I have this feeling of being very scared of gals which are too nice to me (recently is Catherine and Belle). I scared I fall in love too easily and my ending is always the same (Left alone and Sad). =x Just hope "you qin ren zhong cheng juan su ba" I just quarantine myself one corner. =p DO NOT DISTURB =p

Ho ho... finally got his Ice Cream and "Hard Food".

Hee Although I'm still on MC till 11 Feb which is next web morning. Ho But today my Boss(my auntie) asked me to go back office to settle some stuff. Anyway really unwilling in the begining. But After all, I was given 3 days rest le ma. hee before I pick up lazyness as a hobby better start to work early. If not the forgetful me might just lost my way to office 1 week later. he he.

Today after work have a craving on Sushi. Hee so went with boss to West Mall Sakae Sushi to eat. First was the craving, then when I think of my tooth. I was worry that I can't bite. lol.

In the end really to my expection lor, I nearly swollow the sushi and lots of "additional rice" stuck at the "pocket" of my gums. Yucks. Go toilet gargle my mounth; wat came out was little bloody rice bits. Yucks.... Serve me right sometimes. Hee hee.

Next we went to super market to shop for ice cream. Ha ha my auntie bought a big bucket for me and my cousin to share. Ho Ho Ho.... Hee I'm blessed ya... lol

Craving for Ice Cream

Ha ha today is Day 2 of my tooth operation. And today whole day stayed at my auntie Wendy's house. Grandma cook porridge for me, like the the baby type of food. lol. NOt really use to it but no choice.

And today 3 people ask me to eat ice-cream to heal faster. Jervel, Mark and Catherine. So nice of them. Hee I think they should but for me and bring it to jurong east.. haha a bit bad hor. I cannot go out yet. The mediciene makes me drowsy sometimes.

Still I want to thank you people who sms me and showed care and concern. They are Sir Bruce Lee(Taekwondo), Melissa Ang(Secondary), Vicki(Poly Friends), Jervel Eo (Taekwondo), Catherine(Just known through an Ice Cream Session, Belle's friend). Christbelle(Secondary), Melissa Ho(Secondary), Jeslyn Yap(Best girl friend), Jeslyn Tan(My sis), Wendy Chua(Auntie), Grandma(father side and mother side), Chris Ng(Army Friend)... Mmm in a way I'm still quite blessed ah.

Thank you everyone..... I still wanna to eat ice cream. Mmm must go but tml. ho ho ho.

I have no wisdom liao.....

Lol today went to extract wisdom tooth. That day removed 1 at Mdm Alice clinic. Pain for 4 days lor. This time round remove one shot 5 tooth. Makes me so scared as first.

In the end. Still fine. I cannot really smile, due to a lower lip numb not really in pain(maybe is the pain killer effect still there. lol). lol but surprisingly I can still eat soft food like porridge. lol the forgetful me actually forgets the date my operation. haha thought it's Thursday. But then the Alexdrandra Hospital called to inform me it was today. Lol heart almost jumped out. Is it true that the bigger your wisdom tooth are, the better your thinking? Ha ha because I have very big wisdom tooth. And the one that removed at mdm's clinic was a complicated one. That tooth got 3roots and it curved at the end. spend a lot of time pulling out.

Today I was asked to report at 8:45am. Ha I was the first patient. When I arrive at 8:30am they all ask everyone is waiting for me. =.=" (Think just because they start work at 8am) lol they can't wait to pull out my teeth. about 8 nurses attended to me in total and 3 doctors spoke to me before I walked into the operation theater.

I was pull to sleep totally. When they removed my 5 tooth. Sounds scary ya. But I still have my wisdom la. will not forget my great friends out there. Hope I still can remember how a pattern was done. ho ho ho.

It's New Year's Day

Today is "Chu Er" - (second day of Chinese New Year). As usual this year round nothing special. Alone at home doing nothing, hee so went for a moive with my relatives at E!Hub - "INKHEART". Hmmm I think it was not a very good show compared to similar movies like harry potter. But anyway hee better then nothing at all right?



Yesterday, was at Wendy's house. She called in Lion Dance to be performed at her place. Hee really loud and making the place messy with oranges skin, vegetables, and this year round even pineapples. haha but it is belive to bring luck. they also very really creative, formed words with the oranges provided. I think the lion troup must know not even Kung Fu but need also knowledge in arts as well haha. The way they arrange the oranges and pineapple, really artistic lor.


After the lion dance, I was invited by Elmo to Clark Quak, we were there with 2 other gals Crystalbelle and Janice (all sec friends).... lol again pub. =.=" I dun like it. lol end up like I spoiling their mood drinking orange juice. haha even the waiter laughed at me. Nearly had a good round of sparring with him. lol but the bouncer bigger size than me haha....


Me and Jancie only stayed only for a while. Then after the "Lunar Pub" followed Jancie to another place then head back home in a wat I think was a unique cab. Hee the cabby driver use his own pocket money to fix a Touch-Screen monitor which allows customer to play the song they like. Mmmm I think is very interesting. Or am I "sua gu".... Ha ha

After reaching home, again played games till 6am plus. Haiz 3rd night liao. Just cannot really sleep. Was it's the addiction to games (Warcraft) or is it something else.... Lol I also dun know.... =.="

Mmmm The reunion Dinner

This year wee had a very early reunion dinner haha dinner at 5pm. lol At a restaurant in East Point. Waa there is good anf bad la. Mmm good is the food is served hot and fresh. Bad is very rush lor... like chase you to eat fast fast cos next group coming in. lol


And after the dinner, me, my sis and mum went to florist to shop for flower. Lol Wendy tell my mum die die must get fresh flowers for me and my sis. To bring good luck and more important get attached.... lol really sooo "mi xing". I dun really mind they say must buy "Tao Hua" in the end I buy a "Lian Hua Bamboo" haha. Attached or not really so important meh? Ke ke I have better things in life. To stay fit and healthy. =)

Happy Chinese New Year

Hee today at home did spring cleaning for my room. Lol lazy brother never help. So I did it all by myself. I thought I was simple. lol but I spent like 5 - 6 hours cleaning my room only. Ha ha maybe I too "Jie Pi" like army style everything want clean clean. I wipe even the dust stuck at the corner of the room. (lol dunno lie there how long liao).


And best is, due to my sensitive nose. I'm like sneezing all the way. Lol, cleaning and sneezing plus music playing sentimental songs. Ha ha thought of it, kind of fun... Packing the stuff also brings back memories. Things that I thought was gone long ago suddenly appear right before me. Ha ha things like Angel's "Love letter" that we used to exchange in secondary schools days. Cheryl birthday gift. 21st birthday photos. And even taekwondo photos where we took at bhcc.... Mmmm miss all my friends....




Things that I still kept such as birthday cards la, letters, haha even a diary I wrote last time... haha reading it just brings back sweets memories. =)

Red Cliff II..... And Topic on Jervel =.="

Just came back from Toa Payoh with Gorden, Shermain, Wei Qun, Darren and Derren. Was ticked by Gorden to movie. Tomorrow still have to wake up early to go temple to do voluntary work. lol. I still think Red Cliff 1 was better.

First, Gordon bluf me that tickets(@ Golden Village, Bishan) were already booked for me online liao. (Which I was relectuant to go for the movie so late at night). Then upon reaching there, after I buy my nachos Combo then he tell me no more tickets liao. (He did not book online, he assume that there will be tickets.) dotz....

Ok then we go Toa Payoh to watch that show. at 11:50 =.=" watch till 2am plus.

Best thing is they mentioned Jervel to me again =.=". Trying so hard these few weeks to forget certain stuff by going to temple and going out shopping, movie etc to peace my mind. Dotz.... It may seem like I dun care about Jervel in front of them (But the blow three weeks ago still hurt k), certain questions are very sensitive one ok. =.="

I've only got rejected by gals twice in my life so far. Frist was Cheryl and 2nd - Jervel. (To all my friends tonight: "I really appreciate your help, but if you want to know more and make me remember things I shouldn't. Mmmm pls PAY for my movie tickets or do more donations to temples - To peace my mind k =p)

Ha ha anyway they tried very hard to teach me how a get a gal. Ha ha had so much fun, Gorden suggested that 1st week must hold hands, 2nd week must hug, 3rd week must kiss.... haha I thought only can be heard from radio. But today I can't believe I hear it from him. lol Shermain must have been "Chi Duo Fu" a lot. haha (Not for me to comment)

Anyway to me, I respect myself and will put others before myself. Certain morals must come into place also ma. Hee never mind if I dun have a girlfriend for the rest of my life. I'll still live my life to the fullest. Follow the certain teachings of Buddhism and Taoism. Hommmmmmmm..... Ha ha ha.

Taoist Federation Youth Group (TFYG)

Hee Yesterday evening just had the first meeting with the committee. So eye opening, The chairman, Aaron Tan, I think around the same age as me. But really can tell that he's experienced from the way he talked.

The committee was a rather small one about 13 people attend only, including Lixuan(Liyan's sis) and Kwang Tong. Hee Kwang Tong is Head Secretary in the board. and Li Xuan was chosen as the asst. Secretary. Hee for me I'm just a sub-group member. Hee but that's really fine for me. Focus Poomse Committee better. lol.

They briefed the whole year planning. Mmmm sound so interesting to me. Haa going to China, Xi An during June. Mmm if got subsidise for the trip I think I will go. Ha Ha got China obtain the "secret relics" and get enlighten also not bad ya.... Mmmm

And this weekend, will be going to a temple at Toa Payoh, to give out "ang baos" for old folks. Mmm, I see my life more meaningful by doing good deed. Ha ha I think do more good deed, will be blessed in someway or another. =)

San Qing Gong and movie at JP - "Seven Pounds"

Today, went to help out at San Qing Gong - (Kwang Tong's Office - The Temple where Singapore Taoist Federation is located); it's sort of newspaper collection and old clothing collection from the residents living nearby. Ha ha, but the thing is, the temple is located opposite an industrial area, not much people living there lor, =.=" for the whole of 6 hours, we only got 4 people came to donate. haha instead, we spent our time there helping Lixuan (Li Yan's Sister and also KT asst.) doing some pasting of CNY cards.

And today I've finally joined their Youth Taoist Group. Ha ha guess it's fate ba. After the past 2 years of rejecting Kwang Tong of joining the group - which like grow from 6 members to today 70plus in 2 years. Ha ha for me instead of being the pioneer group. I became the 70th plus plus plus member. Lol.

After the volunteering work, I went from Bedok all the way to Jurong Point to watch a movie. Nothing in mind, so choose the show, "Seven Pounds". The show I think not meant for ppl with low IQ. haha Cos totally dunno what the show trying to say until the last 10 - 15mins of the show. You must also have a lot of patience to watch the show till that far lor. Ha ha. But really a meaningful show. Will Smith killed himself to save 7 other people which waited desperately for human organs to survive. Mmmm nice for boring people haha.

Hello Happy New year to you first. =) hee hee. Hope you all will have a great year ahead. Same goes to me hopefully. =.="

It's has been near to 2 weeks, but still thinking about "You know who" .... haha trying to get myself occupied with taekwondo so dun think so much, helping Vikki in all sorts of demonstration. Hee she wants us to do "High moment stuff" and as usual kanna "Fan" by my so call "Wife" in Taekwondo. haha you know who also. Lol.

Anyway, things had not been going so well for me these few weeks. Mmmm I think I havn't found my PEACE after all the visits to the temple around Singapore. (I think about 6 liao) lol with my grandparents too. They treat me fishsoup. Mmmm like a decay I've not been sitting down eating alone with them liao. A bit happy as well as sad, they really grew old le. (I've sent both my ah ma and ah gong to 3 temples to prey for good fortune for the whole family).

I hope I can find my peace in the year 2009 and to all my friends out there. Be happy and stay Happy. A big laughter is the cure to thousand of illness. So laugh out loud. Hee but make sure at the right time. hee hee (IMH Nearby too).... Best Wishes!!!!! Mucks......
